Classroom Resources
AVID
is a
consortium media library of the schools of DuPage County Illinois. Its
members benefit from access to one of the largest media collections in the
state, over 20,000 items. User ID's and passwords are available for all
teachers, librarians, coordinators, and administrators at member
institutions. The Online Catalog is a current, searchable, and interactive catalog of all
titles in the AVID media collection. Through this catalog, AVID members can browse, book (reserve) materials,
extend current bookings and revise items scheduled for delivery. Members may
also review their past year's orders.
The catalog is searchable by keyword, subject, grade level, and media type.
The AVID collection includes videos, DVDs, streaming media, hardware, software, kits, models, audiocassettes, and educational journals, as well as
the Professional Development Center's book library.

to analyze the plot of a story! A Story Plot Graph will teach your
students the patterns found in interesting reading materials. The images
in the step by step instructions are based on spreadsheets used with a Mac but it translates to
